FAB Meeting Wednesday – June 14, 2017 Minutes

  • Members Present:Mary Larson, Doug Dahlberg, Jeff Waldvogel, Lori Kasella, Nate Beack, Chris Bell, Lori Kush, Dave Stumpf, Jon Vetter, Mike Olson and Steve Bell.

  • Secretary’s Report – Lori Kush made a motion to approve the minutes for May with Doug seconding the motion.Motion carried.

  • Treasurer’s Report – Lori Kasella gave the report. Doug made a motion to approve the May treasurer’s report.Jeff seconded the motion.Motion carried.

  • Gaming Report – Doug gave the report for May.Gross receipts $57,269; prizes paid $44,345; net receipts $12,924; taxes $2,397.91; allowable expenses $7,625.91; donations $5,228; net profit $3,258.74.Doug made a motion to approve the gaming report for May and expenses for June not to exceed 12,000.Lori Kasella seconded the motion.Motion carried.

  • Motion was made by Lori Kasella, seconded by Lori Kush to approve paying the pull tab machine rental and storage unit rental through electronic bill pay.Motion carried.

  • Trailer News – The trailer will be in the Little Falls Parade and possibly the Randall and Bowlus parades.

  • Bean Bag Tournament – No report.

  • Pheasant Hunt/ Sporting Clay fundraiser – No report.

  • Golf Tournament – Lists were distributed for board members to solicit donations.

  • Ballfield/Track photo – need to schedule as soon as possible.

  • High School Baseball All Star Funding.Motion was made by Lori Kasella, seconded by Doug to sponsor Austin Weisz in the High School Baseball All Star game at $60.00.Motion carried.

  • Scoreboard Anchor Sponsorship Little Falls Schools - Motion was made by Lori Kasella, seconded by Doug to approve the Scoreboard Sponsorship at a cost of $25,000 over 5 years.Motion carried.

  • Meetings for the summer will be at the Little Falls Golf Course at noon – regular meeting will be July 12th.We will also meet 19th and 26th and August 2nd and 9th for golf.

  • Jeff made a motion to adjourn. Steve seconded the motion.Motion passed.
